well, I think you need to work on creating mood. What you have here what looks like a snapshot of someone in a chair. No offense. I do think the pose has potential, her "feeling" seems to be inwardly happy. Like a sense of self confidence and pride. I think the background flash and chair ruin the photo though.

photography always about framing and emotion or the subject in the photo...i think to move this pic from the snap style to lovely photography, how about to just concentrate on the face and let the camera not to be above and make it little bit low, seek a chance for the flash thing to not use it by a good source of light
